The zoo is now in the summer season
Good news! This means all of the houses and enclosures throughout the zoo are open to explore, including the attractive summer enclosures and the well-known African Safari. Be sure to check out our experience programmes as well!

All of you remember Sudan, Suni, Najin and Fatu and their unbelievable journey from Dvur Kralove Zoo in the Czech Republic to the Ol Pejeta Conservancy in Kenya almost two years ago (December 20, 2009).
The Rarest Rhinos Travel Back to Africa

Four of the world's last known remaining eight northern white rhinos will be relocated from captivity back to the wild on Sunday 20th December 2009, thanks to the collaborative efforts of a consortium of conservation organisations.
Rare species bred: secretary bird

We can announce the first breeding success in the case of secretary birds within the Czech Republic. In addition, the two young 'serpent eaters' present the only two young within European collections this year.
